In addition to crucial start-up/seed funding from the Richard King Mellon Foundation the 社区 Foundation, 1889年基金会, the project received a major boost from William C. 总裁Polacek & JWF工业公司首席执行官, to support entrepreneurial and technical activities on-site with a $1 million pledge to be managed by JARI. In addition to seeking support from the state level, the project will also seek support from the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration’s “Recompete Pilot Program” to advance implementation initiatives in a regional education partnership with: Allegheny College, 华盛顿 & Jefferson College, and UPJ.

Dr. 拉梅什辛格, 博士学位, Assistant Professor of Engineering states: "An advanced manufacturing and automation center in Johnstown is a great initiative for technical workforce development and economic growth in the region. The 项目 will empower the next generation high-tech workforce that will be capable of handling high-speed, technically advanced manufacturing sector."

The continued collaboration final execution of the vision for ‘Future Works’ will depend on the continued collaboration and support of partners in community, 政府, and local business to successfully secure funding for the project’s completion.
